Ezekiel Ithlori (a.k.a. Zeek)
Zeek is a High Elf from Danrest and Holy See paladin. Very early into his 20 year training, The War of Opinion broke out between the Kingdom of Fandaniel and the Mitfordian Confederacy which eventually resulted in many of his instructors and older peers enlisting once the Holy See entered the conflict. Unable to join the fight himself before the war's conclusion, this left him with a lasting sense of survivors guilt for his fellow paladins who perished on the battlefield.
Upon taking his Oath he had the option to serve as a Holy Knight but instead enrolled in Danrest University as a way to broaden his opportunities to serve those in need. He spends much of his time at the college focused on extracurricular activities, such as attempting to mediate conflicts between feuding students, which has left him with many black eyes. He often jokingly refers to himself as the "Imperfect Prefect."
Zeek is a custodian of broken things, and strives to unearth the light believed to be in even the darkest depths, which has placed him in firm opposition to more nefarious individuals and staunch affection for those they prey upon.
