Bane, the Black Hand

A tyrannical and despotic god seeking to control all of Creation, Bane is seen as more of a threat to Good gods than many Fiends. Bane promises Order, in return for unwavering obedience. Bane is the living embodiment of hate, terror and oppression, with would be tyrants groveling at his feet in return for a fraction of his power. The Dark One rules with fear and is quick to display his displeasure to his servants. He holds none as his superior and many Evil gods cower before his power. Bane often bestows boons upon ambitious dictators, hoping they will spread his Order across the Material Plane. Bane rarely appears to mortals, but when he does, he is always wearing his black gauntlet.
