Deep Sashelas, Lord of the Undersea

While most mortals view the Feywilds as a realm of endless woodlands and prairies, the Feywilds have all the same geography as the Mortal Planes, including vast seas and oceans. Deep Sashelas was a great sailor and explorer of these waterways, when the Elves still inhabited the lands of the Fey. While the Elves followed the call of the Trembling Giant to Endunia, they had to cross through many planes of existence, sometimes requiring vessels to carry them. Deep Sashelas built and piloted these for his people. On Endunia, he encouraged the Elves to traverse its seas and expand to all of its lands. He urged them to pursue their curiosities and attain knowledge from wherever they traveled. A powerful deity, Deep Sashelas’s influence has nevertheless waned in the terrestrial civilizations of Elves on Endunia, with most of his temples and shrines located in coastal cities and towns, or underwater in the kingdoms of the reclusive Sea Elves. Deep Sashelas occasionally presents himself as a male Elf, but more commonly as a guiding star, or a friendly dolphin, sometimes a whole pod.
