Helm, The Watcher

The Human god of protectors and guardians, Helm is worshiped by knights, guardsmen and rangers all over Human civilization. He is the spirit of watchfulness, and many adventurers pray to him as they guard their camps. One of humanity’s most ancient gods, Helm is said to guard the entrance to the Outer Planes, and, more recently, guards the Great Barrier, preventing the universe’s most powerful beings from manifesting on Endunia. Knightly orders revere him and city watchmen strive to emulate his vigilance. Usually a neutral power in struggles between the gods, Helm has nevertheless come into conflict with beings such as Shar, Bane and Kozah for their meddling in mortal affairs. When appearing to mortals, Helm’s face is never revealed, and he is always clad in full-plate, longsword and shield in hand.
