Tiamat - Queen of Chromatic Dragons

The Chromatic Tyrant

Tiamat is the five headed chromatic dragon queen. She also rules over the domains of hatred, greed and arrogance. Tiamat is often spoken of in hushed circles as but a mention of her name is considered deadly. Tiamat resembles a gragantuan dragon with five heads represneting the main chromatic dragons, red, white, black, blue and green. She is considred the mother of chromatic dragons and the figurehead of all their evil and tyranny. Tiamat often waits and observes while pulling strings from behind closed doors. Her followers make up devoted cults that work endlessly to release her onto the mortal world. Tiamats worshipers take on many names across the planes, though are mostly known under the moniker of the "Cult of the Dragon".
Tiamat spends most of her days scheming from behind her shakles in the first layer of hell, Avernus. Held there at the behest of Asmodeus, the Dragon Queen waits for her oppertunity at freedom, though rumors of her not being fully imprisoned have always persisted.
Legend says that Tiamat was formed from a shard of Ao, the dragon god above all else, when he shattered to create his children. She was created alongside her brother and mortal enemy, Bahamut, father of metallic dragons. She constantly finds herself at odds with Bahamut and wishes for nothing more than to end the Platium Wyrm once and for all. Alongside Tiamat and Bahamut, Sardior, the god of Gem dragons, Gruaghlothor, the god of Ferrous dragons and and unknown other draconic queen were created. Scholars say that Tiamat consumed her newly created sister, and her name has been lost to time.
