Sherpa Boboddy
When my father and mother hatched me 45 years ago, I was born with many brothers and sisters, most of which I remember fondly.
Years later our village was attacked, every home ransacked, mother killed, entire family scattered.
I wandered alone for what felt like years until I happened upon a large church. There I waited for a week, until a priest came claiming that God had told him to meet someone at the church in his dreams. I was raised and cared for by that good priest for well over a decade.
I consider him a great friend and he taught me the ways of God. I believe it was God’s will that brought that priest to me, it was his plan and I will forever follow in His steps.
I found my wife in a nearby village soon after that, right next to the church I forever serve.
That is until Sha-dandy , my dad’s loyal mastiff, came bounding to my door, with the family tavern still intact and a note on the door:
“Sherpa, I can no longer faithfully follow dad’s orders and be the protector of the family heirlooms, after being blasted by a fireball, I am too injured to continue, it is now rightfully the next family member in line’s responsibility. Take care.” -Radood
