The Gnomes of the Rocks as they are known to the Lorican scholars are slim, the shortest of the three species, and the fairest of skin, generally being the complexion of a human in poor health, although with a vague tint of green in their skin, hinting to a sylvan ancestry. They range from a tawny blonde to a rich red in hair, and generally have delicate facial bones, moderate constitution, and a respectable, but unimpressive strength in the body.
The Klettabruðer are the dominant race of gnomes in Kokintras, forming the core of the populations of Snaken and Kirschdorf, two of the five unified nations of the The United Providences of Endevesten.

The Deep Gnomes are a subterranean subrace of the gnomes with a long history that is deeply connected both with the Dwarves and the Infergenti. A lack of sunlight has caused them to develop very little coloration, as the eyes are generally slate grey to a pale blue universally among their kind. They also tend to be quite pale, reflective again of being long underground. They have an established kingdom in the Northeast of Snaken, called Nethanjarthar-Holf, which has been their ancestral homeland for centuries according to their own lore. They were closely connected to the Dwarves of the Dulkunbu, however, several centuries past there was a great calamity that caused them to be cut off from the other underlings by any route but above ground, filling their caverns and tunnels and passages through the rock with water from the sea. It's supposed that perhaps the formation of the Crater Sea between Snaken and Crysach, was to blame for this calamity.

The Forest Gnomes are the second most common of the Gnomish brood on Kokintras, having lived in the wooded foothills in Trisen and Alb and the northern portions of the Stone Sea for centuries. Now the main contingent of the population has migrated northward in a bloody and phyrric battle for freedom, falling back from the Lorican Armies near fully into Trisen and the The United Providences of Endevesten. Darkly colored and with the green tint of their Sylvan heritage, the Forest Gnomes are known for their wild dexterity and feats of acrobatic, derived from being forest-dwelling hunters.
