Elvish

Elvish is a flowing rhythmic language that is soothing to the ear. An emotional language, elvish can convey and transfer emotions more easily than the other mundane languages. Unlike common or dwarvish, elvish was created in isolation by the elves themselves. It has also remained relatively unchanged throughout the millennia due to the long lived nature of the elves themselves. There are however still changes and dialects that have emerged with time. These are based on the differences of the elves themselves.

Sea Elvish

Sea Elvish flows like water and has some similarities with Aquan . many scholars feel that Sea Elvish is Aquan put to actual words. While not actually true sea elvish is characteristically very similar to Aquan. Due to the fact that the Sea Elves are the most common of the elven race sea elvish is considered to be the common elvish. If someone were to study elvish in a school or from a book this is what they would learn.

Mountain Elvish

Mountain elvish is more grounded in reality that the other dialects of elvish. Not as flowing or graceful this dialect still sounds graceful to the outside ear but it is more direct. There are fewer fantastical metaphors or similes in mountain elvish.

Forest Elvish

Forest elvish is much rarer than the other dialects. Spoken only by the various Forest Elf tribes this dialect is the most aggressive of the forms of elvish.
