The Ardent

The Ardent is the largest of the territories.

History

What is now known as The Ardent, used to be known as the kingdom of Fields. Since it bordered the Elven Empire, most of the war was fought on it's expansive plains. 
After the Elven Empire was dissolved, and the human kingdoms were united under a single banner, it became known as "The Ardent". Since it was the largest, and housed highest human density, it was considered the seat of the confederation. After discussions ended, the newly united nation of Er Arda decided that the capital was now to be in Er Myth. 
In many ways The Ardent still holds power, since it still houses the largest military.

Agriculture & Industry

West Brier is located adjacent to one of the richest iron mines in Er Arda. Due to the close proximity, the city is known for it's many black smiths. 
Blacksmithing has been the major source of income for West Brier since its inception. Turning out many armaments, tools, and most importantly horse shoes.
On the outskirts of the city are plains, which makes it the perfect land for agriculture. Fields and fields of grains are tended to every year, the most important one is wheat, which they send to the bakers, or sell off at market.
