House Falinor, of Emerald Bay, is the royal house of the The Kingdom of Aéredon. 236 years ago, the house's heir discovered the continent he named Aéredon, and founded a dynasty that endures today. Their family has held the crown for as long as the young country has existed, gaining the loyalty and love of the common people.   They are devout followers of the God, Aére, the father of Light, and legends speak of Chosen heroes called from their bloodline to carry the light and serve His will. Their sigil is a white sun blazing on a field of emerald green, and their words are "By Light We Lead".

History

Not very much is known about the Falinor family before they arrived and established the kingdom of Aéredon, at the mouth of The Great Bay. The stories passed down through the ages say a man named Aéredey, was hunting one day and he found a beautifully radiant emerald pearl in the river, when he picked it up, he saw another one, just up ahead around the bend, leading towards the sea.   He gathered his people and they began following the glowing beacons for months, across the seas, narrowly avoiding devastating storms by following the route laid out among the pearls, until the people sailed into the bay they call home now. Aéredey used his divine gift to establish himself king and savior of the people, starting a dynasty that continues to serve and defend the people of their kingdom today.
