Races

in Culture

These are the more common races found in Aéredon. While these are definitely not the only species, they are the more commonly encountered inhabitants and citizens you will meet along the way.  

Aéredonian

The humans, halfings, and gnomes of the The Kingdom of Aéredon are the largest population in the land. They are mostly located in the capital city, Emerald bay, but have spread all over the continent. They are mostly farmers, sailors, and they are a very happy people.  

Sa'Yeliah

The Sun Elves have long been friends with the human-led Kingdom, especially after the daughter of their matriarch married the Prince, uniting the two races in peace. These elves are devout followers of the Father, Aére.  

Okatashi

Located in the western Redwoods of Aéredon, the Red Elves tend to prefer the safety of their forest homes to the bustling cities of the other races. Unlike their cousins, they prefer to worship the Moon Goddess, S'Eyllyn. They live in large communities centered around Moon Trees called Nathu'iki, that are said to hold the memories of their ancestors.  

Marizoku

Mysterious elves with purple skin who are said to be able to interpret the words of the Nathu'iki. They are very rare and can be difficult to find. No one is quite sure what causes them to be born, but they can come from either race of elves, Okatashi or Sa'Yeliah.  

Melvarian

Friendly and chatty dwarves from the island of Andvain, who sail around trading exotic goods in their wind catamarans, gliding across the glittering blue oceans.  

Tarvossian

Reclusive dwarves with firey red hair who chase after elusive veins of pulsing raw thunder energery left over from the Celestial Schism. They use this energy to power their tech and tools to dig deeper and faster.
