Geography

The East

The eastern half of landmass, mostly covered in dense forests and thick jungles, is separated in half by the The Eternal Spires. The capital city, Emerald Bay lays in a lowland delta with soil rich fields to grow crops and bustling port for trade and commerce which allowed for rapid growth as the capital of The Kingdom of Aéredon. Inland from the city lie the Torren River Woodlands and mountain range, near the small town of Benton. The road continues up into the mountains to the city The Cascades, built into the western cliffs, where the mountains meet the shores of Stogner Reservoir. Directly north of the capital, through the Anden Valley lies the Anden Forest, where the naturalistic city of Anden hides among the tundra forests. Northwest of there, the high mountain ruins of Ravenscraig can be glimpsed through a perpetual blizzard of snow and ice. The Echoing Mountains on the northeast side of the continent are home to Baymont Fortress and the Sun Sword order of knights, to safeguard the mouth of the bay. Directly south across the huge bay, the Salt Flats and fishing hamlets along the rocky southern coast of the bay produce the best fisherman in the land, who call Saltwynd home. Following the southern coast leads to Redbough, an industrial logging town in the southern forests, between the southern shore of Lake Voss, and the coastline. The southern tip of the island is a combination of swamp and jungle, and home to the arid port city of Zeran, which is the logistical stop for everything and everyone traveling from the eastern part of the island to the western part.   The mountainous island, Anuduin contains the deep and extravagant halls of the Dwarven kings. Several wild islands remain between the larger two land masses.

The West

The western half of the landmass, can only be reached by island hopping and traveling the canyon road of the Keurad Highlands, to arrive in the bustling port city of Coupleton, situated in the thin stretch of water between the two landforms. The sandy shores of western Aéredon quickly turn into the towering forests of Trysdale, some reaching the same width as city blocks. Sapphire Lake collects on the shores near the ruined city of Neravine before it flows west down the Revel River. Nomadic centaur warriors trek the highlands and moors, before the always shifting dunes of the Quari-Airys Desert begin. Just recently, more ancient ruins were discovered near the outpost of Mollen.
