Okatashi

The Okatashi people are a race of wood elves, from deep in the Trysdale Redwood Forest. They remain secluded from the humans of The Kingdom of Aéredon, but allow them to pass through the western forest to their cities across Aéredon.

The Red Elves

These elves are distinct from other elves for their dark tan, almost copper colored skin, almond shaped eyes, and dark black hair. This has lead to the humans calling them the Red Elves. They build intricate wooden treehouses, high up above in the canopy of the dense redwoods. Immediate families will inhabit a single trunk, with suspended bridges linking the floating structures into dense cities, high off the forest floor, far from danger.

The Aéredonian Alliance

When the humans first encountered the elves, several scuffles broke out, before an alliance was needed to ensure both sides safe travel through these lands. King Aérethor I was the king responsible for securing peace between the two nations, in the form of this alliance, in the year 125 AoR.
