Avonan (Ah-voh-nahn)
Avonan is the northernmost continent of Erde and the smallest of the three major landmasses. There are three major settlements in Avonan: the human kingdom of Peredim in the west; Cadia, the land of the Sylvan Elves, located in Hemgrove Forest in the central region of the continent, and the gold elf lands of Lauranye in the east. The northern region of Avonan is a mostly barren tundra, inhabited only by nomadic tribes of humans who have the fortitude to survive there. The southern region consists of a hilly area that hosts several halfling villages. The Actean Sea, the Numera Strait, and the Amasha Sea make up the three waterways that form around the continent.
