Bloodmoor (Blud-more)
Bloodmoor is located in a large valley hidden in the Zarithan Peaks. There is a small and treacherous passage called Zarithan Pass that allows for travel between Calehan and Bloodmoor which is seldom used but hints that there was once trade between the two kingdoms, but Bloodmoor is known now as a reclusive kingdom. Many of the passages that lead into Bloodmoor are underground. South of Bloodmoor lies Calehan and Westland, the latter also rising up to Bloodmoor’s western border. Its northern border is the peaks of Zarithan that sit just off the Ythris Ocean.
The capital of Masorian is rich with magic and lore, as the Blood Elves addiction to magic shows in their everyday life. Magical trinket shops and tattoo parlors are in abundance, as the Blood Elves are consistently trying to find an edge against the other contenders who aspire to rule as Emperor. Annually, a tournament is held to determine who will get the right to challenge the current Emperor for right to rule.
The most powerful Blood Elf is usually chosen as Emperor, and is currently Prenris Cillian. He has ruled for many years, despite being defeated by the tournament champion every year for the last couple of years. The champion, a lone Blood Elf who has broken his reclusive nature and left Bloodmoor, returns every year to display his prowess, but upon defeating the Emperor has declined to take up the mantle, leaving Prenris to rule for another year.
