Worsklin Territories
To the northeast is the Worsklins Territories, a large stretch of undulating steppes dotted with small to gargantuan deposits of Umbrium crystals. The Worsklin people, primarily Uncia Tabaxi, are well known for their stonecrafts, druidic magics, and husbandry of field-spanning herds of Cortuses, small, coarse-feathered bipedal beasts with a calm demeanor and a taste for umbrium chips. They joined the Empire after witnessing the conflict between the Empire and The Nortlat Stills. Despite an unconditional allegiance, the Worsklin people have gained a reputation for stubborn passivity against a lot of outsiders. Here the people typically speak Gar-Nem, a language blending Nortlat and Empire Common.
People from the Worsklin Territories have names from both Nortlat and Empire Common origins, but many are also from older roots before the Territories joined the Empire. Their names are often ordered as family name, birth parent name, honorary parent name (common but not universal), and a given name. Common Worsklin family names include:

Shifting Capital
The capital of the Worsklins Territories is Tursh, noted for it's many yurt-like buildings that occasionally transition to new locations, making the Empire standard of roads and set city subdivisions a futile effort. From Valley to Peak
Native only to the Worsklin Territories are the majestic Svidr, a large, flying creature. Trainers spend nearly a decade catering to and appealing to a Svidr with the hopes of a partnership. This partnership is primarily the trainer or eventual rider providing food, and the Svider allows a person and light gear to ride upon their wide backs.
