Overview on Sasserine Nobility

The nobility in Sasserine is what really governs and runs the city as a whole. Not only do these noble house have governing strength they also hold large stakes of economic power within the city . Each of the towns and villages inland are governed by the nobles or they appoint mayors who oversee that territory. Most houses rise to power through fame and fortune though some have rose from marriage but that is rare. When addressing a Noble its is important to use the right prefix. For major houses "Your Grace" is used for interdictions afterwards if they permit you may use Lord and lady unless speaking to the matriarchy of that house then one should use "Duke". When addressing a minor house the use of Lord and Lady is in order or Count when addressing the matriarchy. While addressing a lesser house one would use Sir and Lady or Baron for the matriarchy.

Confederations of Fortification- Largest Alliance in Sasserine, they belive that things should return to how they were before the dark days. They have championed that the Lorchester family be pronouced rules of Sasserine and Neldrak Lorchester be made king.
