Fruit of Divine Vision

According to the Druids of Gen, communion with gods can be reached by eating the Fruit of Divine Vision. They state the fruit has special properties that will elevate the mind of a mortal allowing them to see and even speak with the gods. However, it will only work for those that are worthy of the gods; anyone who is not worthy will be struck dead.   It is said that first Arch Druid of Gen was Called to the post by Them after ingesting the fruit. Ereza is said to be an incarnation of Gen, and each element is a part of Them- Air the breath, Earth the bones, Fire the blood, water the soul, nature the flesh. As this druid journied to better know the god he served, he bathed in the waters and dried himself in the many breezes. He welcomed heat from the wild fires and lava flows and walked barefooted across the lands. In his travels he met all manner of creature that live on the land.   In his many travels, the druid saved several Spriggan from snares. The imps rewarded him for his efforts, although he did not know it at the time, with the Divine Fruit. Thinking it an innocous gift, but wishing to be gracious when gifted a fruit of his god's body, he accepted it into his possessions.    Later, when the druid found himself in the northern reaches of the Taris Desert, he was forced to eat the Spriggan gift. It was then that he met his god. He followed the visions and founded the Free City of Gen where they lead him.    --   In truth, this "divine" fruit, also know as Spriggan Fruit, is not fruit at all, but rather tubers harvested in the Ushanni Verdance by the Spriggan who rely on it as one of their main sources of sustenance. In Spriggan, it brings on mild intoxication much like alcohol, however in other beings the effect is more pronounced and for some psychedelic. The Spriggan may be able to discern the potency of each individual tubbers, but no other beings have the ability, therefore any amount ingested could be a potential overdose.
