12 - Phoenix down!
General Summary
Odds and ends
The yet unnamed party head back to the stores, offloading some of their goods for gil, and purchase a single phoenix down for later use with revivify magic. They sell most of their stolen wares to a fence. Totalling roughly 155,000 gil for the lot, including some gems prior. They also gain 150,000 gil as a reward from Yasithra. Zar'ral Helvimtor returns 30,000 gil to Yasithra to aid in her goals. Zephyr Highwind buys and adapts some stolen half plate. Arrex Nairin buys some full plate, also stolen. They have their armour cleaned up and modified.
A good nights rest
Zar'ral spends the night with his lover, Yasithra, and tells her all about his adventures, and the crystals. Yasithra agrees to scout out the nearby forest for a spot with a high density of monsters and aether, to help them create a transportation crystal using a magical recipe provided by Pope Braska Guado.
The others sleep in various places, and have a good nights rest. Through the night, Zephyr and Vexacious Rein discuss Thordan.
Greebi returns for his promised gil and food. Kupo hands him 60,000 gil but asks for it to be banked for later use. Then pays 5,000 gil for information from Greebi about magical sites nearby. Vex hands the Moogle 50,000 gil. The night then passes.
Down a dull and dangerous den
The party then head to one of the spots given by Greebi and Yasithra, defeating a stray Bulette on the way. They head down in to the cave. They fight various monster encounters including; a Troll and his kidnapped Goblins (One of which, a child, Kupo reanimates. Clearly he is heading down a strange path.), a group of lizardpeople having a tribal ceremony on the second layer, and a pair of shambling mounds and the bottom, which nearly kill both Arrex and Vex! Somehow, they all survive, although Kupo loses 2 fingers that he can later reattach due to being a white mage.
