Clara the Warrior
Clara
Clara is a beautiful woman and a powerful warrior! She’s six feet tall with fair skin, blue eyes and high cheekbones. She braids her long red hair and binds it with leather ties. Clara enriched her leather armor with chain mail, steel, and fur. She wears a sword on her left hip and an axe on her right hip. A wide leather belt both provides additional protection and stores throwing daggers. On her back is a large wooden shield with iron bands. She maintains her exceptional physical condition by practicing martial arts twice a day. In addition to swords and axes, Clara is an expert at throwing small axes and daggers.
Her back story is very sad. As a young child, she became an orphan and was forced to grow up on the back streets and alleys in the rougher districts of Eridell’s capital city. Early on, Clara learned that if she wanted to survive, she would have to fight for what she needed. As a pretty young teenager, she constantly had to fend off lecherous men. When she was fifteen, she met a kindly monk who was feeding the poor. He offered her a chance to learn a more sophisticated and formalized fighting style. Excelling at martial arts, she soon found herself at the top of her class. The monk eventually becomes her lifelong mentor.
Now, at age twenty-four, she’s an accomplished warrior, highly skilled in hand to hand combat and weapons. She frequents the Steel Rose pub and wins money from unsuspecting visitors by playing games of chance. Clara also hires herself out as a sell sword, guard, and adventurer. She enjoys strong drink and loud boisterous songs. William hires Clara as a guard and soon they become close friends. Secretly, there is some sexual tension with William, but her aversion to being touched constantly gets in the way.
