Dusk Knights
The order of Dusk Knights were a highly secretive elite unit that were part of theKnights of the Dawn. They were founded by and under the direct control of Willas Lyrinth, the first king of Lyrinthia. The Dusk Knights were a vanguard against anyone who would cause a threat to his newly unified kingdom. The Dusk Knights were selected from the best of the best of the best of the Knights of the Dawn, who themselves were the best of the Lyrinthian Crownsguard.
Like the dusk itself, Dusk Knights were the last line of defence that the light had against the darkness and as such there was often at least one Dusk Knight nearby the king as a personal bodyguard.
When not on royal guard duty, the Dusk Knights were used in secret for espionage missions to find out and eliminate any potential people wanting to overthrow the King and destroy the newly unified country. It is unknown how many people were taken out by the Dawn Knights, if any at all.

History
The Dusk knights were disbanded after the murder of Vikor Lyrinth when a member of the Knights of the Dawn turned out to be a double agent who betrayed and murdered the king. The order that was meant to protect the king had done the exact opposite of their duty. As such the Lyrinthian Crownsguard took over protection duties and the Knights of the Dawn were all but disbanded. The failed Dusk Knights split off, that section of the Knights of the Dawn seemingly gone forever.
