River Ørsin
One of the two major rivers of the Headlands, the River Ørsin flows south, through Lake Ørsin, and intersects with the River Glåma at Lake Glåma. The river than continues southward and passes through the Lake Blackwelle before finally flowing into the Tålesund Strait.
Many of the denizens of the northwestern Headlands rely heavily on the river for fishing. The lower river south of Lake Ørsin is too narrow for heavy ship traffic between Morstead and Khaz-Mael, though smaller boats can make the journey with ease outside of the winter months, when parts of the river and lake freeze and the ice prevents travel by water.
