Sentinel Peak is a lone mountain that is located northwest of Valeheim, between the two easternmost distributaries of the River Glåma. Originally being known by a local name, it was officially renamed to Sentinel Peak early in the Second Era, after the construction of the great watchpost at the top of the mountain had been completed.
The Stormguard Garrison of the Army of the Reach is based at the eastern side of the mountain base.
