Session 14 Report

General Summary

The party travelled through the hill paths directly to Sovar stopping at the Lumber town Velnor to relax and bathe. While in the Tavern the Owner, Treyvon, spoke to Nyx asking for help with something that could be magical, however he wanted to keep it quiet to avoid attention. Buns, Loopty, and Nyx then went to the bathhouse, while Bathing, Buns, wanting some peace and quiet from Loopty cast Silence in the room. This interrupted to men talking, and one of them became extremely scared and ran out. Buns heard him saying 'I thought I had lost my voice, like she did, and you know what happened to her after.' Sheepish Buns left and told the rest of the party what happened, Nyx believed it could be related to the Innkeeper's request.
Later in the day Treyvon spoke to the party about a 'disease' that has been afflicting women around the town, where they feel lethargic, and eventually lose their ability to speak, and finally die. Treyvon then told you his wife has been afflicted with this illness, the local Healer, Ethel, has no idea what is causing it, and tries to help those afflicted.  The party checked up on Treyvon's wife, Mary. Upon inspection Buns and Nyx were able to determine that this was no mundane illness, this was definitely a curse, and one that had been applied over time. The next morning Buns broke the curse, and after speaking with Mary and Treyvon the party grew suspicious Ethel the healer, and after hearing she was due soon for her daily visit the party decided to set up and wait for her.
Also Buns taught Nyx how to say 'I am an idiot' in perfect Celestial
