Session 5 Report

General Summary

After discovering the cages that seemed to have recently been in use, the party questioned the bandits further. They learnt that the bandits worked for the vampire lord however they had no idea that he was a vampire, or what was happening to they people they captured. You also learnt that their old captain now works directly for the Lord and is the acting guard captain Parse. Upon leaving the area and looking to set up camp, once night fell you heard wolves howling, and the sound of a single dog bark. The party decided to flee fearing the wolves were hunting for the vampires, after running for most of the evening you saw a plume of smoke in the distance, resting at a campfire you met Fred the Ranger, who had been in the area and was informed to check up on you.
Fred told you to keep running until you crossed the river while he will lay a false trail. He asked if anyone had been bitten by one of the vampires, and when Loopty responded that he had, he asked for some blood in order to lay a false track, as they were likely following his scent. The party was able to make their way to the river crossing, thanks to the false trail. You set up camp about 30 mins away and started to sleep, leaving a watch out. After some time Fred approached the camp saying it was close, but he was able to get away. The next morning her spoke to the group, and got the full story, and he told you that there was a blood tracker after you, a dog mutated and trained by the vampires, and once it has your scent it would never forget. Fred then informed Thorn back in Fallavar of your story, he received a response telling him that they will send the information to the order of Ordis who often hunt Vampires. Fred advised you to head to a town named Lurra and wait for further instructions, he recommended you to speak with the guard captain Brian.
