Birira Isthmus

Birira Isthmus is the narrow stretch of land on the Western end of Malnax, connecting Cape Talon to the rest of the Tuck region. The Whale Sea is on the North side, and the Sombre Ocean is on the South side. To the East of Birira Isthmus is the town of Baerra.

An isthmus is a piece of narrow land which connects two wider areas across an expanse of water by which they are otherwise separated. A tombolo is an isthmus that consists of a spit or bar, and a strait is the sea counterpart of an isthmus.
