Slypoint

Slypoint is a fairly rural town located on the southern tip of Grand Alexandros. Existing foremost as a fishing village and modest trade post, the town acts as the principle waypoint between South Gate and the main island. The village itself hosts a variety of attractions intended to entice Alexandrian soldiers on leave from South Gate and various sailors and merchants off-loading goods in town on their way to the capital city.

Government

The town is led by Starosta Clement Cain, a charismatic, middle-aged and tan-skinned human. Clement is a man who appreciates the finer things in life and is not afriad to test the boundaries of his political position, by using his office for his own personal gain. Understanding the influence and positive favor Starosta Cain maintains in Slypoint as the owner of the Slyfoxx Trading Company, rather than removing him outright, the crown had installed a lawmaster in the town to ensure the capital's political and economic interests.

Industry & Trade

Slypoint is primarily a fishing village that sits to the north of South Gate. The town's economy is fairly self-contained; however, there is reasonable amount of trade that passes through the village as Slypoint is the primary locale by which travelers and goods make their way to South Gate. In addition, the town maintains a fairly active port that acts as a first stop for many of the trade ships making their way from Saayanda to Alexandria.
