Alexandros

First settled by the Stormgardian Rebels during the Age of Revival, Alexandros is an island kingdom sitting off the coasts of Eldamir and Weströnd. Comprised of two main landmasses--Grand Alexandros and Daggershard Island--as well as a smattering of smaller isles, the territory is hailed as being the first kingdom established by Valennians in the eastern hemisphere of the world following the World Shatter. Prior to the arrival of men from the west, a clan of sea elves inhabited the chain of islands. Originally drawn to the region for the connection they said the area shared with the Creators of All and the Primordials, the sea elves relinquished control of the territory when the armies of men arrived. The island chain and its capital city are named for the first leader of the Stormgardians, Alexander. The island is a highly touted political asset, both for its geographical location and access to the valuable resource amonite. While intially considered a principality of the Stormgard Empire, overtime and with the support of the Triarchy, the island kingdom became its own sovereign kingdom.
