Coed Felenrhyd

Coed Felenrhyd is a dense forest in the east of Estellia. Growing upon a strong magical ley-line, this is where the last Elf kingdom is located. Difficult to traverse and full of dangers, this is a place that few enter without an elf of Ylrannor guiding them.

Geography

This forest is thick, with light sometimes struggling to penetrate through the dense canopy. There ground is not totally flat, with hills, cliffs, ravines, and streams dotted around the wood.

Ecosystem

You will find your usual forest creatures here, but thanks to the ley-line you will also find an increased number of monsters wandering the woods.

Localized Phenomena

Getting lost in these woods is more dangerous than most, not only because of the monsters but because of the intense ley-line magic effecting you. If you wander too far and find yourself lost you might just wander into The Feywild.

History

This forest was the original home of the Arakocra, but during the dark times of the early second age they were pushed out by the Elves who were searching for a new home after their own kingdoms had crumbled. Ever since, these woods have been controlled by the elves. Today, the two groups are in a state of dead-locked war over the territory. The Svanur Commonwealth is unable to hold any ground it takes, whilst Ylrannor is unable to kick the birds back for good.
