Prince of Nightmares
Orias, the Prince of Nightmares, is the Greater God of Nightmares. He is the one who causes Nightmares to occur in sleeping sapiens, and uses these nightmares to gain power. He is the Twin of Turiel, and is seen as the polar opposite of them. A Gloomy and Grim man, his need to be seen as better than his twin has led to him starting a bitter rivalry for power of the sleeping realm.

People have described Orias to look quite lanky and thin compared to the other gods. As if he eats less and see's less of the sun.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
As one of the Greater Gods, Orias has been around since a very early point in the universe. He was created as the twin of their slightly older brother, Turiel. During the creation of the universe he was diligent in helping their brother in creating the sleeping realm, the place where mortals would dream when they slept. Their relationship was good back then.
However after the creation was finished, he found that there was no room for two people to rule over the dreams of the mortals. He decided in the end, that he would rather split the dreaming realm in half and become his own person, rather than sharing the realm with his brother. And so he became the prince of nightmares, and created nightmares to become the counterpart to dreams.
This resulted in a breakdown in the Twins relationship, and a bitter rivalry between the two. The two would stay far apart during family meetings.
After the death of Truth Orias was deeply upset, which resulted in a short term of particularly bad nightmares for those in the material plane. He decided to agree that mortals and the gods should live apart, and retreated to his home in the Nightmare where he would mourn with the other gods of the Hells.
