Chief Torgan

Torgan is the current chief of the Valkol Horde. Voted to his position by the Valkol Peace Council, he ascended to his position thanks to his impeccable political skills and after leading negotiations with the Phantom Steel King for closer ties between the Horde and Liberté. 
Starting life as a simple farmer, he became the representative for Luma Turok after defending the town from a monster attack. A friendly father like figure, he has garnered the respect of his people and has helped change attitudes towards the horde.

Personal history

Torgan was born to a farming family on the southern island of the Isles of Turok. He worked the fields and tended to the animals and was a familiar to face around the town. As he entered adulthood, he defended the town from a monster attack which made him famous among the residents. Pushed by his friends and family, he decided to take up the mantle of the town representative on the Peace Council. 
Over the last 15 years he has become a well respected member of the council, especially for his skills in negotiation. He managed to form a diplomatic relation with the pirate nation of Liberté, after meeting the Phantom Steel King and coming to an understanding.
Three years ago he was voted as the new Chief of the Valkol Horde, making him the leader of the nation. Through this time he has been trying to change the perceptions of the horde and open new friendly relations with the continent.
