Chameleon Grove

This large and luscious forest sits on the North-East border of The Inbetween, connected heavily to the Wastes of Winter/Frozen Lands and the coastline. It is widely considered by the Wild Fey to be their territory, and many are entirely unaware that an Archfey resides within and has ownership of the entire Grove.
The Chameleon Grove is known for its beautiful, tall trees with the richest and most iridescent leaves in shades of purple, teal and blue, and the most marvellous dark bark which has the texture and appearance of mahogony save for its almost entirely black hue.
Remembered often as the site of one of the largest battles which took place during the Cataclysm, the Chameleon Grove boasts the tale of Prince Melehan's defection to the Seelie Court after betraying his father, Prince Mordred, on the fields of combat to protect the innocents he saw being slaughtered. Though many still speculate what caused him to truly turn from his Unseelie ways, it is no less accepted as one of the major turning points of the civil war.
