History
Clan Stonefury rose to prominence centuries ago when they were entrusted with the defence and fortification of Alonharl during a time of crisis. Their stone masons and engineers played a critical role in designing and building the towering walls that surround the city today. Their efforts saved the city during an invasion by a rival Dragonborn faction during the Siege of Alonharl, an event that cemented their status as protectors of the capital.
Notable among their ancestors is Agar Stonefury, a brilliant engineer and warrior who led the defence of Alonharl during the siege. His innovative designs for the city’s walls and battlements are still in use today, and he is remembered as a hero among his people.
Since then, the clan has continued to maintain the city's fortifications and has expanded its influence by controlling the stone quarries in the Northern Mountains, which have become a vital economic resource.
