    Traditions and Rites

    1. The Rite of the First Hunt New members, or Initiates, must complete a hunt successfully to become full-fledged Hunters. This rite involves tracking and capturing or killing a lesser monster, usually chosen to match the initiate's skills and weaknesses. Success in this rite earns them their first official rank and the respect of their peers.   2. The Feast of Beasts An annual celebration where members gather to honor their greatest hunts and share stories of their exploits. The event features a grand feast with dishes prepared from the monsters they have hunted, symbolizing their triumphs over the wild.   3. The Moonlit Vigil A silent vigil held on the night of a full moon to remember fallen members. Society members light candles and offer silent prayers to Bahamut and Moradin, seeking their blessings for the souls of the departed and guidance for future hunts.

    Symbols & Colours

The symbol of The Beastbane Society is a stylised image of a dragon's head, with its jaws open wide in a fierce roar. The dragon's head is depicted in profile, with sharp horns protruding from its skull and its eyes ablaze with fiery intensity. Beneath the dragon's head is a crossed pair of swords, representing the guild's dedication to combat and the hunt.   The symbol is typically rendered in shades of red, orange, and gold symbolizing the guild's ferocity and determination in the face of danger. It is often displayed on banners, flags, and armour worn by members of The Beastbane Society, serving as a proud emblem of their allegiance to the guild and their commitment to protecting The Dragonlands from the threats that lurk within.
