Vorenthos Flamecrest was born in the city of Djerad, the bustling metropolis near Djerad Lake and the Djerad Mountains in the westernmost reaches of the Dragonlands. His parents were both devout members of The Order of the Twin Temples, the religious order that governs The Dragonlands, and they raised him with a strong sense of duty, honour, and devotion to the gods Bahamut and Moradin.
From a young age, Vorenthos showed a natural affinity for the art of hunting and tracking, spending countless hours exploring the wilderness surrounding Djerad and honing his skills as a hunter. His parents encouraged his passion for the hunt, seeing it as a noble pursuit that aligned with the teachings of their faith.
A prominent memory from Vorenthos's past occurred when he was just a young hatchling. During a hunting expedition with his father, they stumbled upon a group of kobold raiders who were terrorizing a nearby farmstead. Despite being outnumbered and outmatched, Vorenthos and his father bravely stood their ground, defending the farm from the kobold threat and earning the gratitude of its workers.
Vorenthos's considers his initiation into The Beastbane Society as one of the most pivitol moments in his life. The Society is a renowned Guild of Monster Hunters and Bounty Hunters that operate across the Dragonlands. It was a proud moment for Vorenthos, marking the beginning of his journey as a professional hunter and cementing his commitment to protecting the people of Djerad, The Dragonlands and beyond from the dangers of the wilderness and the worst of the worst.
Throughout his life, Vorenthos has faced many challenges and triumphs, but through it all, he has remained steadfast in his dedication to his faith, his family, and his duty as a hunter. His journey has taken him to the farthest reaches of the Dragonlands, where he has faced monsters both fearsome and cunning, but with each victory, he has grown stronger and more determined to protect the land he calls home.
