The Ruins of Udän (Ooh Dhan)
A previously unknown location, unrecorded on many maps of the Rune Keepers that was discovered by The Adventurer's Guild after a job request was filed, seeking aid as the residents of the village were under siege from bandits.
Despite these claims, it was discovered by the Guild Members who attended, that these "bandits" were in fact members of the Amber Crux who were beseiging the village due to an infestation of Werewolves present. After tense negotiations the Guild decided to aid the Amber Crux in routing the source of the Werewolves and were ultimately successful in doing so, putting an end to a sinister plot to spread Lycanthropy across the Empire, before it really got started.
They saved a vast majority of the small number of civillians, including an Eladrin male called Jurgen Goodberry, who after the Guild departed became the Spokesperson of the village, acting as something of a leader for them and aided heavily in organising the rebuilding of the settlement.
More recently, during the scourge of Kasaria the Winged Blight across Eternium, she turned her attention to this idyllic village as the sight of one of her most ghastly experiments to date. With half the civillians slaughtered in the first few moments of her assault and the survivors infected with Dragon Eggs in their chests, Kasri ran a thorough test of the first draft of the Kasarian Blood Dragon, crafted with the aid of Fruzen Chronos. With the unfortunate failure to remove the Eggs and their transformation into the true form of the Kasaria Blood Dragon, the populace of Udan was entirely decimated, with only 4 survivors walking away from the event.
While the Guild did everything they could to save Udan and her people for a second time, on this occasion the threat proved to be too great and too destructive, and on orders from the The High Clergy of Tor Uviel, it was deemed that Udan would be formally razed to the ground and nature would be allowed to take back over in attempts to cleanse the area of the bloodshed and horror.
Demographics
Udan was formerly home to a majority of Elven men, women and children with a small number of Half Elves and Halflings.
