Inside, the tavern has a large smoky hearth that takes over one end of the taproom.

Proving a bed for travellers and food & drink for the regular patrons.
Tourism
Whilst not having the most welcoming atmosphere, plenty of outsiders still decide to stay here.
This is mostly due to the the modest room prices and almost comfortable beds - 'outsiders' are usually treated to worse conditions than this.
