Royal Elitist's
Mages within this group value knowledge above all else, they will organize ventures into abandoned and dangerous tombs, into portals that go into other planes, and even have in their recorded history that the ruling members of this group can trace their lineage back to the original mages who founded the Sothern Mage Conglomerate as a whole. The mages in this group believe themselves more civilized than any of the other mage groups and will make sure that everyone knows how much better they are, so much so that all the mages have begun to hate the group but it is true that all the Archmagi and other magical leaders have come from this group.
Culture
Those who make it into this group have fought hard to do so as the mages who are apart of it take the bloodlines of applicants very seriously. Those who have any black marks on their names like deals with devils, killing of innocents, or practicing what they would consider dark magic are not allowed in no matter how noble they are. Those who are not of royal or significant blood will not be accepted either as the knowledge contained within their area of the tower is meant for only the most trusted eyes.
The core beliefs of this organization are simple, those who are entrusted with the secrets of this group will keep them even if they do not want too. Each initiate is forced to undergo a ritual that prevents them from talking about anything to do with the group to people who are outside the group which includes mages and non mages.
Public Agenda
The public only knows that this group of mages are not fond of those without magic, through fear they have been taught that those without magic can never fully understand what it is like to have magic and thus are not able to fully grasp what those who do have to go through. With that being said these mages are well known to sometimes venture out into the world on quests for knowledge and work with non magical people but only when they absolutely need to, these people who work with them claim that they are all very respectable and try their very best to not upset or make anyone uncomfortable with their magic.
Assets
Those who are in this group have access to the library which has grown in size to where it gets its own floor in the tower of magic, this library can only be accessed by those who are in the group or those who have been in it before which typically includes the Archmagi and those slightly beneath them. In this library mages who have passed down their crafted and found spells to others in the group making them able to specialize in certain areas of magic that are needed by everyday people and mages alike.

These two groups find common ground sometimes in their pursuit for perfection, while the Eldar collective believes that they can become the perfect version of themselves through powerful black magic and the Royal Elitists understand that in order to cull the imperfect from the world they will need the power from black magic.
Non-aggression
These two orders while they may not like one another share some common enemies. Both of these factions hate the Flesh-Fire Collective and will do whatever they can to hinder their views on how mages should be. While they still but heads about how mages should exist in the world they still sometimes aid one another in missions against their common enemy and on rare occasions works spells together.
Unfriendly
These two factions have had a long standing rivalry, because of the Flesh-Fire conglomerate believes they have been divinely chosen to lead while the Royal Elitists believe they are the ones who should lead because of their pure blood lineage.
