Fïél
A rare, toxic weed, known to cause permanent blindness in those who ingest it. Being a neurotoxin, it also causes full-body paralysis, preempted by difficulty breathing and slowed heart rate. In a high enough dose, it will cause death. In low doses, once metabolized, the symptoms fade, but also only leave partial blindness.
It is bright green with ridged, velvety leaves, tinged reddish-purple at the edges. The plant can grow up to a foot in height, and snapping open the thick stalk reveals a green, milky sap. It smells of sugar and its sap tastes almost like honey.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
Used by maveshad as an extract to purposefully blind powerful channelers, always only a citizen who committed a severe enough crime, for training to become part of the Blind Legion.
Given that low doses only cause partial blindness, and a too-high dose will kill, a single, carefully measured, moderate dose is given to the subject, which causes full-body paralysis, which would result in respiratory arrest if not for lefvada-based life support during the entire hour-long process. Once the subject is fully blind, the staff assigned to the subject heals the nerve damage done by the toxin, leaving only the optic nerve permanently damaged.
This is part of the punishment for certain criminals who did something bad enough to deserve it, but who also have been proven to still be loyal to Revgreah.
