Nathlesin (nath-less-ihn)
(Also known as mythril.)
Properties
Material Characteristics
Silvery in colour, and extremely lustrous in sheen. It is the most lustrous metal known.
Physical & Chemical Properties
About as light as cotton, while still being stronger than any steel or even titanium.
Compounds
An alloy is made from valamitin, titanium, and nathlesin for use in armor, weaponry, and essential foundations. Exceptionally wear-resistant and durable, this alloy is also quite expensive due to the relative rarity of two of its component metals and because of the difficulty in forging.
History & Usage
Reusability & Recycling
Since it does not degrade with repeated reforging, unlike steel, old items that no longer have a use or significance are frequently melted down to make new items that are needed.
Distribution
Storage
Usually kept in a dry location and out of the elements when not in use. Aside from standard cleaning, items made from this require very little maintenance and no special equipment.
