Formation of the Novarian Empire

As the land of Wothe settled in its final location after the ambush from Dural, the young Jarl, Conlaed Novaris declared himself Emperor. His crown forged from the fractured flesh of the Colossus and the last Queen of Wothe, he began to expand his fractured homeland.   Thus began the first steps in the creation of the largest dominion to exist in Eurithan's history.

Upon the disbandment of the Seekers at the start of the millenia, mortals were left to their own devices. One of these supposed mortals was Novaris, a political powerhouse who ran several states of land in the continent Wothe. Upon realising the potential of his country, he wished to see it grow and expand to curb the increasing issue with poverty and famine.   His peers did not see his point of view and rejected the act of expansion, so Novaris acted alone, and worked in the shadows for decades, until his peers died off.   Taking opportunity of the unfortunate situation, he hand selected the council of Wothe, and now with little resistance, put his plan into action. Firstly, he had the army expand, growing ten fold to overthrow the current ruler of Wothe, Aol'paeln, and her large military. Secondly, he invested significant amounts of taxes to rebuild villages and towns to a better standard, allowing a better standard of life to all of those in his care, which reflected on the increase in crop production.   Within the short span of 6 months, with a well-fed army, he ventured to take the capital of Wothe, Zalmarid.   Many died in the battles that ensued, but with tactical cunning, Novaris prevailed in the final battles. His vicious battle tactic of destroying enemy farmland benefited his militia greatly, and he eventually led the last push to the throne.   Aol'paeln, in fear for her life, put up a great fight against Novaris' forces, as well as him personally. The battle lasted 2 days, wiping out the last of Novaris' and Aol'paeln's forces, leaving the two face-to-face, both bloodied and injured from the prior fight.   Nobody knows how Novaris emerged victor in this fight, but all records know is that he exited the royal palace, with Aol'paern's head in hand, and a bloodied crown in the other. He tossed down the decapitated extremity of the dead queen and stood on the mountain of corpses at his feet... And donned the blood-soaked crown.   And so began the start of the great Novarian Empire.
