A Royal deal
The King of Mevius has had dark days since the war with Kandabar started but a new surprising hope with a interesting ally may turn the table of this great war. After Quimble demonstrated the power of the clot swarm the king saw not a threat but a weapon. under the gise of sending a scout to check the infection went down instead he sent an envoy by the time the envoy arrived 3 cities had fallen and Dandren the New home of the clot swarms king was completely converted to a hive of thick blood the envoy pumped full of weave-lock entered the Hive taken captive after a unsuccessful transfusion of the disease he requested a meeting with the leader. the clot king curious to this decide he was no threat and that he could see him eye to eye. The envoy spoke "I see your power was much greater then we expected" gasping for are as the transfusion made him weak The clot King spoke like a true royal and scholar proper in every way "and yet you are not under our control" the envoy responds "Mevius took its precautions" "I see Mevius has decided to make things political, and just so you know this hive is far less then satisfactory so small with little flesh to build from if things had gone to plan I would be spread across Renglees by now" the king spoke with a wrath in his eyes but a gentle voice before the envoy responded "although our king can't offer you Renglees we can offer you something much greater..." the Clot king gestures for him to continue "we will send a 'extermination force' which we wish for you to infect and send to Kandabar we understand your origin is magical and we think you are much better suited living some where like Kandel we offer you a strong force to destroy Kandabar, in return we expect you to live under ground in Mevius the 3 cities you have now will be reclaimed after you settle in Kandel feel free to live in the sewers and aquifers but leave at least 70% of the population unaffected and stay out the inner walls of Mevlova in return we will provide you with immediate military power as well as a cease fire of our forces... do you accept" The Clot king thinks for a moment wonders the room then pauses "on one other condition" the envoy responds eagerly "yes?" "what is it that makes you untouchable... also that would be yes my league" "weave-lock... my league " "good dog, tell your feeble king the arrangements have been made and return here with 20 grams of this so called weave-lock " The king waves his hands and the envoy is sent out and his wounds are healed. The envoy travels back to Mevlova to inform his king the good news while the Clot King makes his plan and starts research on weave-lock and possible counter measures.
Structure
Exposition
Mevius has a trump card against the clot swarm in the form of Weave-Lock but there still desperate for help which is why they offer so much to the clot King. also the untrusting nature of the Clot swarm is shown through the exhausting process of attempting to infect the envoy. its also important that the king of Mevius was before unaware of this powerful force attacking the cities and it seems that this is due to his lack of care for the country as a whole offering 30% of the population and his army for his own safety and the so called glory of Mevlova but the envoy is an example of the extremely loyal force the king has making any kind of political coup difficult.
Conflict
Mevius is loosing a war and becoming more desperate this desperation leads them to make a risky ally with a conscious disease at the same time we see the effect of the abandoned city near the start of the campaign what It has become and also the avoided power rise of take over of Renglees.
Rising Action
After the King of Mevius hires the clot swarm to attack Kandabar there is an imitate power shift pushing back the invading forces this news travels fast so much so that there are bards singing tales of the valiant "Phantom army" a army that showed up from no where supposedly stronger then the line breakers ever were, undamaged by magic this unrelenting force eliminated the attacking foe which wiped out the most recent force to start pushing into Kandabar. This is a altered tale of propaganda in reality the army infected the current defender and attackers alike turning the enemy to there side mass losses on both sides but the total force for the clot swarm increased as they are highly effective against magic users and large groups which the Kandabar army is both. This news should be shocking to the party but not alarming for them as they might care not which way the war goes. soon after news arrives in Mevius there should be news in Kandabar of a sick twisted army of Demons that have turned there men against one another they call Mevius "Hell's Proustite" as the only way they can suspect such a power shift is if they made some twisted deal with the devil. a envoy of Kandabar shall be arriving in Mevlova soon to discuss the Pressing matter of WTF is that army and which devil did they blow to get it.
Climax
This force will push into Kandabar and take over Kandel by the time there level 10+ also the king of Mevius start a campaign to remove the rumor of dealings with devils and the possible involvement of the clot swarm freedom of travel to the infected cities is prohibited and people start going missing suddenly traveling to the three infected cities, Dandren, Kansoon and Tantrus (they have been infected by the clot swarm and are joining there army). The king makes his best effort to hide this as the Clot Swarm grows more powerful and the Clot King has no intention of following there agreement and plans to attack Renglees as soon as Kandel is his.
Falling Action
The Doctor intends to stop the spread of this disease any further he knows that killing the clot king won't destroy the Clot swarm but has been preparing a plan ever since he observed the envoy make the deal with the Clot King, his plan is to kill the Clot King hoping that this will call all the forces of the clot swarm to go to the area to protect/replace him then release a concentrated explosion of weave lock Destroying the local weave permanently destroying any magic and hence Clot swarm in the area and killing any Clot Swarm that travels there for ever so even if all the clot swarm isn't there at that moment they will eventually be destroyed over a few weeks. Sadly the doctors plan has a few flaws the Clot King is not easy to defeat and non of his men are strong enough secondly getting the explosive there and triggering them will be difficult as the Clot King wont let any weave lock into the Hive so his men get killed the bomb never goes off and the clot king hides the bomb away and lives to slowly take over the world, that is unless the party intervenes they will have to finish transporting the bomb into the heart of the hive as well as kill the Clot King.
Resolution
The Clot King is either dead and the clot swarm is destroyed and the party is practically unstoppable (or died in the battle/ by the bomb) ready to rule over the world while It recovers from the damage of the clot swarm or they now live in a world infected by a unstoppably cursed disease the only hope hidden away where only one 'man' knows where it is.
