The clot swarm

The Religious cult built on a foundation of Bloodphage  growing in size only due to the nature of the disease its founded on. very few willingly enter the cult most are infected then Charmed into joining slowly having there ideas changed to fit the wants and needs of the Swarm, indoctrinated can be either instant or completed within a few weeks depending on the individuals will power. the cult members and the creatures that make up the swarm are not a hive mind and have individual identities although there original personalities are twisted beyond repair they are still recognizable by loved ones and may even be able to peacefully indoctrinate them into the Swarm.

Structure

The clot mothers are treated as gods the clot flies are her children and hence sacred. directly below them is the clot father seen as a mortal leader with immense power and status directly below him is the clerics then all other followers.

Culture

as the cult members are converted from any group they keep other cultural aspects but twisted to fit the purpose of the cult, for example any religions of ritual suicide would be adapted to be done in battle to create large sums of clot flies to over come there enemies. some cultural aspect always remain the Idolization of the evil abjurations, ultimate servitude to the cause and a genuine belief that Bloodphage is a positive influence on them.

Public Agenda

To spread as far and wide creating as many clot mothers and clot flies as possible while bring more too the cause.

A small hoard of magical weapons and gold hidden in the Dandren sewers along with many members and a few growing clot mothers inside there kidnapped victims.

History

created after a group of clot flies where forced into a confined space from blood of a strong mage this lead to the first clot father who made the the first ever cult and the start of the clot swarm, he is a twisted version of the attempted litch from long ago who used spent his time adapting @[Bloodphage] to create copies of this form the copies where far less powerful and the original is long dead but the impact he had on the plauge is why its so powerful today.
