Fellowship of Paten
The Fellowship of Paten was an elite group of questers selected by officials in the Church of Down to recover the fabled Four Evangelii that were spread across Evandel in the time of Paten. While the quest failed, its surviving members were richly rewarded by the Church of Down. Its failure to find the Four Evangelii and the fact that six out of the ten questers did not survive, tainted the Archrectorship of Terta V, and was the last quest commissioned by the Church of Down.
Public Agenda
The Fellowship strove to find the Four Evangelii, and held immediate loyalty to Archrector Terta V and the Vicars of the Church.
History
In 398 CE, Archrector Terta V formed an exploratory committee of Rectors, which recommended that His Greatness commission a Quest to search for the fabled Four Evangelii, which he did in 399. The Fellowship of Paten was then formed, consisting of Clerics Eldred of Sunda (Elf) and Oppenweld McGregure (Human), Ranger Enda of Sunda (Elf), Bard Finy Hur (Halfling), Paladins Grehghir Vahr (Half-Elf), Hiram Oswalt (Human), Steele of Emmaugh (Dwarf), Battlemaster Godric Gerdinvoar (Human), and Champions Erdik Erflikkon (Dwarf) and Hemgi of Frent (Human).
Disbandment
The Quest was eventually declared to be discontinued by Archrector Terta V in 410 CE. Six members of the party had died. The remaining survivors included Eldred and Enda of Sunda, Hiram Oswalt, and Erdik Erflikkon.
