The Fellowship of the Gospel Era

The Fellowship of the Gospel Era was commissioned in response to Archrector Rurigamian II's Final Test, and the wilting of the Venerated Blue Rose. The Fellowship first met in Holden, Accland, and consisted of members:   Theldyn of Hlera (Known as Dirge)   Sir Torsten Gudmund   Melitoni Euxodos Marivaldi, KE   Bellie Stoutleg (Known as Groover)   Rev. Wulfgar Kragblick, Cleric of the Rose   The storied adventures of the Fellowship are numerous and face much speculation, praise, and criticism. The Fellowship had been present in the city of Shale when it fell to Vicar Domitian DelFresco, and assisted the Vicar in the total takeover of the city. They were subsequently the last to see Vicar DelFresco alive, and further eyewitness account now confirms that the Vicar was killed by the party, and the ship subsequently crashed and sunk after being set on fire.   While members of the party were able to escape unscathed, they were later indirectly involved in the destruction of Trader's Haven in Matten, formerly the largest city in the world. Accish Diplomat Simeon de Fruya later confessed that he had sold the highly explosive and incendiary liquid, Blood Bane, to Mattenese Warlord Salij Jorvani, and that he had commissioned Torsten Gudmund to transport it to Salij in exchange for transport to Matten. Certain devout Downians and Particularists praise the action as the cleansing of sin from Matten, while others condemn the act as unnecessarily cruel and unusual.

Public Agenda

Find the Four Evangelii and heal the Blue Rose

History

After the death of Archrector Rurigamian II of The Church of Down, Vicar of Flavian in Accland, John Paten Deher, KE, commissioned a campaign to recover the Four Evangelii, which had long been lost, rumored to be spread by the Prophets Matten, Mares, Ludde, and Jogn. One century prior, Archrector Terta V commissioned the Fellowship of Paten to find the Evangelii, but they had been reportedly unsuccessful.

Disbandment

The failure to unite the Evangelii and save the Blue Rose diminished the popularity of Vicar John Deher, who had been considered Rurigamian's natural successor. At the Conclave, the Fellowship of the Gospel Era interrupted proceedings to accuse Vicar Eldred of Sunda, Vicar of Lakeland & Warr of hiding the Evangelii. After a dramatic trial led by Vicar Silas Ogmion, Rector and Administrator of Down, it was discovered that Vicar Eldred was not in possession of the Evangelii, and accused Thelydyn of Hlera, member of the Fellowship, of possessing the Evangellii. The trial led to the death of Vicar of Basley Forvale and Rector for the Mission, Alick Ger, who was consumed by the poisonous vapors of one of the Evangelii. The Conclave immediately moved to vote on the new Archrector before any further deaths could result, where Vicar Eldred was selected Archrector of the Church of Down. Theldyn of Hlera had fled prior to the beginning of the vote, and Fellowship members Torsten Gudmund and Bellie Stoutleg fled as Eldred was named Archrector. Cleric Wulfgar Kragblick and Knight of Elk Melitoni Marivaldi stayed behind and were pardoned on the condition they return with their fleeing companions. Neither Marivaldi or Kragblick returned to Down, and Kragblick's Hermitage in Wooten Magna had been destroyed.
