Lord Luck, Bahram
God of Fortune
Bahram is the god of fortune in all senses of the word: from luck to material wealth. He favors cities, as they are both a consequence and an enabler of fortune.
Bahram is an irreverent god and seemingly without fear. For example, while other gods avoid and respect Lagahashra, the Grand Macaque will tease the Last God. Despite Bahram's apparently relaxed nature, he is demanding of his followers: in order to get good out of the world, you have to invest and invest heavily.
The Grand Macaque commonly appears as a humanoid simian - a humanoid creature similar to a hadozee but without the ability to glide. Ever the consummate professional, he usually appears dressed in formal garb and decorated with gold and jewelry.
Clergy
The hard-working priests and priestesses who adhere to the Ship of the Grand Macaque serve their god by finding work for the unemployed, subsidizing businesses, offering loans, and collecting on defaulted loans. Houses of worship may double as banks, as charity centers, or as architecture firms. They collect tithes, so his temples are often quite wealthy, but this wealth is redistributed on community projects. You can often find infrastructure projects in rural areas funded by the Ship.

- Reciprocity. Give money and support Bahram because someday you may need his help, whether it’s getting a job, receiving charity, or being the benefactor of that new building project.
- Fortune smiles kindly on those who plan. Plan for success, and you just might find yourself getting lucky.
- The Grand Macaque views stealing from the poor or unfortunate unfavorably and may punish those who commit such acts with financial ruin.
Holidays
A 3-day autumnal holiday marked by pomp and circumstance. Traditionally, children receive gifts of small toys on the first day and money on the second day. On the final day of the celebration, communities host large, communal meals. These communal feasts are often accompanied by singing, dancing drinking, and games of chance.
