Rose of Ovra

Perhaps one of the most Captivating Flowers on evermyst is the Rose of Ovra. These Rare and Ancient Flowers are only known to grow prolifically in or around the Culmination Points of Mystical Energy Ley lines Called Dragon Veins. Perhaps the most famous location where these flowers are known to develop is the Circle of Blossoms an Ancient Druidic Site in Central Arimar.   The Rose of Ovra is named after the Goddes of the moon "Ovra" Legend has it that this rose blooms in locations Ovra has visited in Evermsyt and Danced. The roses have pale blue foliage that becomes nearly translucent in the moonlight and a more dusty pale blue in the sunshine. The Flower has Huge Pale yellow Blossoms that can grow larger than a man's hand and have a captivating fragrance that is stronger at night but subtly lingers during the morning hours. Its vines can climb and even take root within stone surviving on little water the Rose of Ovra can bloom nearly 8-9 Months out of the year only losing its blossoms when snows linger more than 2 months. during this time it loses some of its larger pale blue foliage but you will often see younger foliage resililiantly trying to grow in the cold.

Genetics and Reproduction

Reproduction is Rare although when the blossoms drop there are small seeds in the Buds. All attempts to plant and grow these seeds in other regions of Evermyst have failed and they only grow at the culmination points of more than one of the Dragon Vein Ley lines.

New Blossoms are being produced 9-10 months out of the year. The Only known Roses of Ovra are Ancient.
