The Bathhouse of Vicentia
Getting an Audience with the Earl of Vicentia
or One of the Cities' Nobility is not as difficult as one thinks
if you know when they like to take a bath.

The Bathhouse of Vicentia is one of the city's treasured structures. The Bathhouse is more than just a place for sanitation and bathing it is a social gathering place, a place of relaxation, and healing. The Bathhouse is also known to be a place of frivolity, trysts of pleasure, infidelity, prostitution, and downright debauchery have taken place. This Bathhouse is open to all who have the coin and often where the various social classes comingle and participate in social activities and games involving the Bathhouse's waters. The Bathhouse was one of the earliest established buildings after much of the limestone rock had been quarried for other surrounding structures. The Bathhouse of Vicentia sits at the bottom of some low-lying limestone cliffs just outside the Cities Harbor Wall. Hot underground spring waters bubble up and supply the Bathhouse's Inner Pools with warm mineral spring water. The springwater bubbles out and mixes with Tidal Sea water for several comfortable shoreside pools carved into the Limestone rock. In the Northern Courtyard of the Bathhouse, there is a laundry House nearby several tables for gathering and Socialization, and a limestone waterslide where children are often seen playing and sliding down the limestone rock into the sea. It is said that a bathhouse besides being a place of relaxation, fun, and enjoyment is where many important relationships and Deals have Begun or Ended. Everything from Secret Meetings, Affairs, Meetings of the Mind, Business Deals, and Alliances have been stuck up or torn apart. The Term "If walls could talk" Most certainly applies to the Bathouse of Vicentia.
Purpose / Function
The Vicentia Bathhouse was originally a small community bathing area converted from a limestone quarry when stone cutters stumbled onto a mineral hot spring. The spring emptied into natural limestone tidal pools that were later formed to make the original bathhouse. Over the Centuries the Hot springs have been expanded on the old quarry site to encompass Fresh Hot springs, and the Original Brackish Tidal Pools, and a Laundry Area.
