Reledus
Nicknamed 'The Halted Lands' due to its state of military standstill.
After the empire of Lowvire invaded Awn- one of the regions of Reledus, the Velians who were defending their land, retreated into their home state of Velia and set up very strong defensive borders against the empire. Thus, the two forces have sat in a stalemate for the past two decades.
There are three Regions in Reledus, as well as four large islands off of its west coast: Meseline, named after the river that runs through a majority of the peninsula, Mart, named after the Great Mart Woods on the north side of the territory and Velia, or what's left of it. Together, Meseline and Mart become the Region known as Awn.
The four islands to the west of continental Reledus are: Heager, Nweis, Orcray and Skauls. These islands, being small and somewhat sparse in resource, are mostly unpopulated. This, however, makes them a hive for other life, like the Sahuagin from Heager who like to pick off boats from western Velian trade lines. Or the trbes of Lizardfolk on Orcray who, when they aren't fighting themselves, like to turn their eyes on the civilized lands.
Geography
Reledus is a warm temperate climate, coming as a result of its proximity to Assav Eatherdissa to the northeast. The ocean to the west of the continent supplies it with enough water to support exxcelent agriculture and wetter climates in the west when compared with Awn.
