Ailwin was born from a union of an elven priest father and a druid adventurer mother in 718 DR, but was raised by her grandparents. She grew up in a nice house in the upper portion of Stilben, away from the swamps of the muck-dwellers and harbormen that make up the majority of city's poorer inhabitants.
Through her childhood and into her adulthood (as the humans around her understood it), Ailwin always had a lucky streak. She had the high elven gift for a bit of the arcane and studied the fey ancestry of the elves. She turned her natural luck and wit into a career with the clasp at the end of her elven adolescence and has been a member in good standing ever since.

History

Ailwin took ownership of "Rina" from Slarkrathel. Stripped of her memories, Rina was a murderous psychopath, and was shaped into a familiar using an ancient ritual of The Moonweaver. Over time, her memories have come back since the ritual, and she remembers her dark past and her name - Jianna. She bore a daughter to Ailwin named Syndra.
